Srishti Roy Barman has completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons) with specialization in Intellectual Property Law from KIIT University, School of law, Odisha where she developed a strong foundation in legal studies. Following her passion for higher education and specialization, she pursued an LL.M. from Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), New Raipur one of the premier institutions for legal education in India. Currently, she is advancing her academic journey by pursuing a PhD from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Visakhapatnam. Her areas of research interest reflect her commitment to contributing meaningful scholarship in the legal domain. With a background that encompasses both rigorous academic training and practical legal understanding, She is a dedicated educator and researcher who brings depth and insight to her students and the academic community at large. She has extensive experience in teaching and drafting session plans of various legal subjects, including Intellectual Property Rights, Laws on Financial Market Regulations, Law of Torts, Environmental Law, Public International Law, Interpretation of Statutes. Over the course of her career, she has actively participated in Faculty Development Programs, contributing to their growth in both pedagogy and subject matter expertise.
In addition to their teaching responsibilities, she has published research papers, showcasing their academic contributions to the field of law. She has also completed various certificate courses that further enhance their legal knowledge.
Currently, the Assistant Professor serves as Class in Charge of LLB 1st year batch, the Head of the Moot Court Society, where she guides and mentor students in developing practical legal skills, she is also an active member of the Legal Aid Cell, Health Committee, Admission cell, Placement cell and Student Grievance Cell, reflecting her commitment to student welfare and holistic legal education.
